Casio is set to broaden the availability of its latest AQ-S820W series watches across several European markets, including the Netherlands, Spain, and France. The announcement follows earlier leaks and confirmation on Casio’s UK website in April 2025.
The new models—the AQ-S820W-1AV in black and AQ-S820W-3BV in khaki—are priced at a recommended retail price of €59.90, aligning with the cost of previous models such as the AQ-S800W-1BV. In the UK, the AQ-S820 variant is currently listed at £54.90. Additionally, a tan version, the AQ-S820W-5AV, appears on Casio’s international site but has yet to debut in European stores.
These watches feature a durable resin casing, bezel, and strap, with dimensions measuring approximately 52.5 x 50.1 x 12.7 mm and a lightweight build of 46 grams. Designed for active users, the AQ-S820W offers world time functionality covering 48 cities, complete with a home city and world time swap feature. Practical tools include two countdown timers—ideal for interval training—a 1/100th second stopwatch, and five daily alarms.
The timepieces are equipped with an amber LED backlight for visibility in low-light conditions and boast water resistance up to 100 meters. They are powered by solar charging technology complemented by a power-saving mode and battery indicator. Under typical use without light exposure, the watch battery can last up to 10 months.
While the European release date remains unspecified, Casio has not announced plans to introduce these models to the U.S. market, where older AQ-S800 models continue to be sold, with prices starting around $40.97 on platforms such as Amazon.
Casio’s AQ-S820W watches combine practical features and durability with affordable pricing, making them a notable addition to the mid-range wearable segment in Europe.
