Amazfit has unveiled the Bip 6, the latest addition to its popular and affordable Bip smartwatch series. Designed to meet the evolving demands of Indian consumers, the Bip 6 blends premium features with a competitive price tag, according to the company.
The Bip 6 features a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2000 nits, ensuring visibility even under direct sunlight — a frequent concern for smartwatch users. Housed in an aluminium alloy frame, the device is rated IP68 and is water-resistant up to 50 metres, making it suitable for various outdoor activities.
“At Amazfit, we’ve seen the Indian smartwatch market mature rapidly. Consumers are no longer willing to compromise on quality, and they expect premium features at accessible prices,” said CP Khandelwal, CEO of PR Innovations and Brand Custodian at Amazfit India.
Price and Availability
The Amazfit Bip 6 is priced at ₹7,999 and will be available in four colour variants: Black, Stone, Charcoal, and Red. The smartwatch will be sold through Amazon and the official Amazfit India website.
Key Features and Specifications
The Bip 6 integrates the new BioTracker 6.0 PPG biometric sensor, which features dual-light 5PD technology to deliver accurate measurements of heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), stress levels, and heart rate variability (HRV). Sleep tracking capabilities are enhanced, with detailed analysis of sleep stages and breathing quality available through the companion app.
Supporting over 140 sports modes, the smartwatch includes advanced smart strength training that automatically detects and logs muscle group usage. It also features offline navigation with round-trip tracking for outdoor enthusiasts.
On the utility front, the Bip 6 supports voice-to-text message replies, a touch keyboard, and call management directly from the wrist. Amazfit’s proprietary Zepp Flow voice assistant enables hands-free operation for added convenience.
Backed by a 14-day battery life on a single charge, the Bip 6 aims to offer users a seamless and reliable wearable experience, cementing Amazfit’s position in the budget smartwatch segment.
