Seiko has introduced three refined additions to its Presage Classic Series at Watches and Wonders 2025, embracing two dominant trends in modern watchmaking: smaller case sizes and understated beige-toned dials. The new models—Aijiro, Fushi-iro, and Shiro-iro—combine subtle sophistication with the brand’s signature craftsmanship.
Each watch features a modest 36mm case, a deliberate move toward more wearable proportions as oversized designs fade in popularity. The standout model, the Fushi-iro, showcases a textured light brown dial—an earthy, warm hue inspired by traditional Japanese silk and Edo-period aesthetics. This aligns with a broader industry shift toward muted, organic colors seen in recent releases from Rolex, A. Lange & Söhne, and Hermès.
Powering the watches is Seiko’s reliable 6R51 movement, offering a 72-hour power reserve. A dual-curved sapphire crystal enhances the vintage appeal, while the new seven-piece, multi-row bracelet—drawing from Seiko’s 1970s archives—prioritizes comfort and refined detailing.
For collectors seeking a harmonious blend of contemporary trends and timeless elegance, the Presage Classic Series delivers. The collection is expected to hit retailers later this year.
