After months of speculation, Rolex has officially revealed its 2025 lineup at Watches & Wonders, introducing a mix of bold innovations and refined classics. The collection includes the debut of the Land-Dweller, anniversary editions of the GMT-Master II, and a fresh range of pastel Oyster Perpetual dials.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller: A New Sports Watch with Integrated Bracelet
The standout release is the Land-Dweller, a new integrated-bracelet sports watch featuring a fluted bezel and honeycomb-pattern dial, inspired by the 2021 Datejust but with a more pronounced hexagonal motif. Available in 40mm or 36mm, the watch comes in white Rolesor (Oystersteel and white gold), Everose gold, and platinum.
The white Rolesor and Everose models feature a white dial, while the platinum version sports an ice blue dial—a signature Rolex touch. Powering the watch is the Calibre 7135, an evolution of the 7140 movement, offering a 36,000 vph frequency, 66-hour power reserve, and an exhibition caseback showcasing Côtes de Genève finishing.
Pricing starts at £13,050 for the white Rolesor, £40,300 for Everose, and £54,600 for platinum. Diamond bezel options add approximately £50,000, while the 36mm version is slightly more affordable.
GMT-Master II Celebrates 70 Years with New Editions
Marking the 70th anniversary of the GMT-Master, Rolex introduced two new models. The GMT-Master II Sprite returns in white gold with a green ceramic dial, maintaining its ”Destro” (left-handed) crown placement at 9 o’clock. Dubbed by some as the ”Hulk-ified Sprite,” it retains the Calibre 3285 and 40mm case of its 2022 predecessor.
A second edition, the GMT-Master II Iron Tiger, features a tiger iron dial—a mix of tiger’s eye, red jasper, and hematite—for a striking, avant-garde look.
Oyster Perpetual Expands with Pastel Dials
Following the discontinuation of the Celebration dial, Rolex introduced pastel-colored Oyster Perpetuals in Lavender (28mm), Beige (36mm), and Pistachio (41mm). Notably, each color is exclusive to a specific case size, potentially encouraging collectors to purchase multiple models. Movements vary between the Calibre 2232 and 3230, depending on size.
Daytona, Sky-Dweller, and Datejust Get Bold Updates
Daytona Yellow Gold Turquoise: Breaking tradition, the yellow gold Daytona features a turquoise lacquer dial, priced at £31,750.
Sky-Dweller Green: The dual-time-zone model now comes in yellow gold with a classic Rolex green dial.
Datejust 31 Red Ombré: A glamorous addition with a gradient red dial, diamond indexes, and matching diamond bezel, powered by the Calibre 2236.
1908 Debuts New Settimo Bracelet
The 1908 dress watch, previously offered on leather, now features a new 7-link yellow gold Settimo bracelet, blending elegance with a beads-of-rice design.
