The Xiaomi Watch S4, initially launched in China alongside the Xiaomi 15 series in October, is reportedly gearing up for a global debut. Leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed key specifications, renders, and pricing details for the European version. While most features remain unchanged from the Chinese model, the price appears slightly higher in global markets.
Display and Design
The Watch S4 will be available in silver, black, and rainbow color options. It features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 466 x 466-pixel resolution and an impressive peak brightness of 2,220 nits, ensuring visibility even in bright sunlight.
Connectivity and Sensors
The smartwatch supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3, with Bluetooth calling enabled via built-in microphones and speakers. For fitness enthusiasts, it includes a heart rate monitor, accelerometer, and barometric altimeter. Navigation is supported through GPS, Beidou, Galileo, and GLONASS. Additional features include NFC for contactless payments and 5 ATM water resistance, making it suitable for swimming.
Battery Life and Compatibility
Powered by a 486 mAh Li-Po battery, the Watch S4 promises up to 15 days of usage on a single charge. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 8.0 and above or iOS 12.0 and later. However, the leak does not confirm whether the global version retains the wrist gesture controls available in the Chinese model.
Pricing and Expected Launch
The Bluetooth-only variant is expected to retail for around €159 in Europe—€10 more than the Xiaomi Watch S3’s launch price. The LTE version’s pricing remains undisclosed. Rumors suggest Xiaomi may unveil the Watch S4 globally in March 2025, potentially alongside the Xiaomi 15 Ultra at MWC 2025, though an official confirmation is pending.
