The watchmaking world shows no signs of slowing down after the spectacle of Watches & Wonders 2025. This week, Arnold & Son, Raúl Pagès, and Armin Strom lead the charge with bold new releases that blend innovation with heritage.
Armin Strom Orbit Purple Edition
For those who crave bold color, the Armin Strom Orbit Purple Edition delivers with its striking aesthetic. The watch retains the technical brilliance of its predecessor, including an on-demand date display activated via a pusher on the left side of its DLC-coated stainless steel case. The date appears on the ceramic bezel, adding a futuristic touch.
At 43.4mm, the case size makes a confident statement, enhanced by the rugged appeal of the DLC coating. While unconventional, the design stays true to Armin Strom’s avant-garde spirit, with impeccable finishing and balanced proportions.
Angelus Chronographe Télémètre
Angelus makes a triumphant return with the Chronographe Télémètre, a monopusher chronograph available in steel or gold with richly textured dials. The watch excels in every detail—case proportions, dial symmetry, and the refined crown and pusher design.
Powering the piece is the manually wound Calibre A5000, featuring a column wheel and horizontal clutch, beautifully displayed through the exhibition caseback. A masterclass in chronograph craftsmanship.
Arnold & Son Constant Force Tourbillon 11
Arnold & Son’s latest masterpiece, the Constant Force Tourbillon 11, pays homage to Abraham-Louis Breguet while showcasing the brand’s own innovation. The dial reveals a patented constant force mechanism, while the caseback unveils a stunningly finished tourbillon.
The movement is a visual feast—bevelling, mirror polishing, blued screws, and sunken jewels demonstrate Arnold & Son’s commitment to haute horlogerie.
Raúl Pagès RP2
Following the success of the Soberly Onyx, Raúl Pagès returns with the RP2, a fusion of minimalist design and intricate mechanics. The white agate dial and architectural hands exude elegance, but the true marvel lies within.
The hand-finished Calibre RP2 features a counterweighted lever, typically found in pocket watches, ensuring exceptional escapement stability. Every component reflects meticulous craftsmanship, making it a worthy investment for discerning collectors.
