At the 2025 Watches and Wonders Geneva fair, Rolex introduced a stunning lineup of new timepieces, headlined by the groundbreaking Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller—the brand’s first new Oyster Perpetual model since the 2012 launch of the Sky-Dweller.
Available in 36mm and 40mm sizes, the Land-Dweller boasts 32 patents, with 18 exclusive to the watch and 16 related to its movement. At its heart is the ultra-thin Caliber 7135, featuring the innovative Dynapulse escapement (protected by seven patents) and an advanced balance spring, delivering a 66-hour power reserve. The movement is adorned with Côtes de Genève finishing and a skeletonized gold rotor, blending performance with elegance.
Aesthetically, the Land-Dweller reinterprets the classic Jubilee bracelet with a slimmer, five-link design—three narrow center links flanked by two wider polished edges—paired with a high-tech satin finish for a contemporary touch.
GMT-Master II: Left-Handed Appeal Meets Ceramic Innovation
First introduced in 1955, the GMT-Master has long been a favorite among globetrotters. The GMT-Master II, launched in 1982, allowed independent hour-hand adjustment—a feature now enhanced with Rolex’s first-ever ceramic dial in an 18K white gold case.
The left-handed design places the crown at 9 o’clock, while the Cerachrom dial mirrors the green-and-black ceramic bezel for seamless color harmony. The bezel’s platinum-coated numerals, crafted via PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition), ensure durability and vivid contrast.
Powered by the Caliber 3285 (70-hour reserve), the watch remains a traveler’s essential, effortlessly tracking dual time zones.
Oyster Perpetual: A Burst of Vibrant Hues
Responding to evolving tastes, the Oyster Perpetual series debuts three nature-inspired dial colors:
- Lavender purple (28mm)
- Sand beige (36mm)
- Pistachio green (41mm)
Each features a matte finish, updated Oyster case, and a slimmer clasp for improved comfort. The Oyster bracelet now includes an Easylink extension system, allowing 5mm adjustments.
Inside, the Caliber 2232/3230 movements are equipped with Paraflex shock absorbers, ensuring precision across a 55-70-hour power reserve.
Perpetual 1908: Refinement Redefined
Launched in 2023 as a tribute to Hans Wilsdorf’s 1908 brand registration, the Perpetual 1908 now features the new Settimo bracelet—a seven-link, 18K gold design with polished surfaces and a hidden Crownclasp for superior comfort.
The 39mm case showcases a sapphire caseback, revealing the exquisite Caliber 7140 (66-hour reserve) with Chronergy escapement, Syloxi silicon hairspring, and a gold skeletonized rotor.
Datejust: A Fiery Statement
Since 1945, the Datejust has epitomized Rolex’s classic elegance. The 2025 Datejust 31 stuns with a gradient red dial—a first for the collection—accented by 10 diamond hour markers and a 46-diamond bezel.
The PVD-crafted ombré effect, previously exclusive to the Day-Date, transitions from vivid red to deep black. The Caliber 2236 (55-hour reserve) features a Syloxi hairspring and Paraflex shock protection.
Bold New Dials for Iconic Models
Three classics receive striking updates:
Daytona (18K gold): Turquoise blue lacquer dial with black Cerachrom bezel and Oysterflex strap.
Sky-Dweller (18K gold): Sunray green dial paired with a Jubilee bracelet.
GMT-Master II: Tiger’s eye stone dial—a first for Rolex—showcasing gold-orange hues from layered minerals.
With cutting-edge materials and timeless craftsmanship, Rolex’s 2025 collection reaffirms its dominance in luxury watchmaking.
