Swiss luxury watchmaker H. Moser & Cie. has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Rainbow, positioning itself as a formidable rival to Rolex’s iconic Rainbow Daytona. Combining horological precision with exquisite gem-setting, this timepiece is a bold statement in haute horlogerie.
Available in either 18k red gold or stainless steel, the 40mm cushion-shaped case features a fluid, integrated bracelet design—a signature of Moser’s Streamliner collection. Powering the watch is the brand’s HMC 814 automatic movement, fully skeletonized to showcase its intricate mechanics.
A Technical and Artistic Feat
Setting the 60 baguette-cut colored sapphires required extraordinary craftsmanship. Each stone was meticulously selected to create a seamless rainbow gradient around the dial, while also being precision-cut to fit the watch’s curved contours. The result is a mesmerizing play of light and color that shifts with every angle.
Adding to its allure, the watch boasts a one-minute flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock, visible through the openworked dial. The exhibition caseback reveals an equally stunning view—a skeletonized rose gold rotor that exposes the intricate gears, bridges, and springs beneath.
Exclusivity and Pricing
Due to the extreme complexity of production, availability is strictly limited. The red gold version is priced at CHF 175,000, while the steel model comes in at CHF 125,000.
With this release, H. Moser not only challenges Rolex’s dominance in the rainbow gem-set watch category but also reaffirms its reputation for blending avant-garde design with traditional Swiss watchmaking excellence.
