Casio Computer Co., Ltd. unveiled the DW-6900TR series today, commemorating three decades of its groundbreaking round-shaped DW-6900 watches. The anniversary collection resurrects the original non-black colorways introduced in the 1995 DW-6900H , blending nostalgia with modern sustainability.
The new shock-resistant models feature the same black, red, and yellow hues that defined the 1990s-era design, now paired with bio-based resin bezels and bands to reduce environmental impact. A hidden tribute appears on the LCD screen—activating the backlight reveals “SINCE 1995 ,” while the case back is engraved with 30 stars symbolizing the milestone.
Notable upgrades include a mirror-finished metal front button embossed with Casio’s “G ” logo, emphasizing durability and premium craftsmanship. The packaging echoes the collection’s heritage, adorned with the G-SHOCK emblem and signature tri-color scheme.
Since its debut, the DW-6900 has anchored over 100 collaborations with brands, artists, and environmental groups, cementing its status as a cultural icon.
